Spanking Songs?
Once again, I feel it is necessary to let people know that I am in fact still alive. Though for a while there I wasn't so sure if I was going to live and if that was such a bad thing. But, I have in fact survived the plague and am even 10 pounds more svelte - not that that's enough to notice - and I'm ready to get back to my duty of keeping Kasey in line.
She's even been taunting me this morning with, "You know I'm not getting anything tonight" which clearly indicates that she definitely wants something tonight. It may not be pretty or easy to understand, but after more than a decade, I have at least picked up on a few of the twists and turns in the way Kasey's mind works (or plays or whatever it is that her mind actually does).
During my convalescence our 12 Days of Christmas have slipped and it is time to get back on track. Given that the 12 Days are actually supposed to start on Christmas, I figure as long as we get them completed by the time the Magi arrive we should be good. However, starting today we have a new challenge - relatives. Yes, we will have people staying in our house who do not know about our spanko games and we'd just as soon keep it that way.
However, I think we can get away with it if we add a little extra noise to the equation, i.e. music. Which of course begs the question, "What's the best music to accompany a spanking?" In this case it is several spankings because we will have people staying with us for several nights and we wouldn't want to become bored with our music choices.
The first one is a bit of a no-brainer - Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing, by Chris Isaak. A favorite of Kasey and me since long before Messrs. Kubric and Cruise and Ms. Kidman made it famous in Mr. Kubric's last film, Eyes Wide Shut, it has to be one of the most perfect spanking songs ever performed. If you've been living under a rock for the last eleven and a half years, you can hear an excerpt* of it here.
The problem of course is what about the rest of the days that we'll have family around and I'll have an obligation to perform my duty to Kasey? Any ideas? What's your favorite music for spanking? We've already used Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue as Kasey described here**, so that's out.
Hope you're all getting as lucky (and healthy) as you want to be,

* I have no sort of affiliation with Amazon and I get nothing in exchange for you clicking the link. It was just the most convenient place I know of to legally hear a bit of the song.
** In my opinion the best recording of Rhapsody in Blue is the one that came from my collection, which is this one. Like Stravinsky's Rite of Spring (Do not under any circumstances get me started on Disney's heresy in Fantasia!), most conductors try to tone it down and pretty it up. From the first wail of the clarinet in Tilson's rendition of Rhapsody you know he gets it.
Fortune Cookie Update: Last two not fortunes - "A feeling is an idea with roots." & "Believe it can be done."
